OpsLobby is a community for people in game development doing any work around DevOps, tools, build and release management, cloud and infrastructure.. or anything in the area!
While there's a ton of existing spaces for game dev generally, or DevOps more broadly, hopefully this can fit a different niche, and allow people to connect, discuss industry and tech developments, get advice, and share tips and best practices.
It's closer to an old school forum, than yet another Slack or Discord community to join! Hopefully a space you can duck in and out of without the pressure of missed notification dots.
A few pointers on getting started:
Get started with introducing yourself, with a little on your background
You can also setup your profile, with avatar, bio, social links, etc
There's an Events Calendar, listing relevant industry events and meetups over the coming year. You can also share new events with the community.
Posts are grouped into tags. When creating a new post, you should select the most relevant "primary tag", which behaves fairly similarly to posting to a specific message board or forum. You can also select multiple other "secondary tags" if relevant.
Software wise, this thing is running on Flarum, a modern and extensible discussion platform built on top of Laravel, and the frontend powered by Mithril.
